OK so I wanted a fiberglass hood for my car. I found one on craigslist that blew off a track car Huh? and needed alot of TLC. I'll post pics thru stages but keep watching as theres much more to come on the hood projects....

Pretty rough once I stripped off the old bondo patches the previous guy butchered. This corner was actually cut off, I used a whizzer wheel to cut between the layers of the hood glass and inserted a piece of flat sheet fiberglass and resined it in. Built it up and trimed it to size. Skim coated mud and finished. I had this task on 3 corners plus the huge crack up the front.

Hood mounted on the car and painted a satin black. The paint looked the same as what was used on the old Mopars in the 60's-70's era. New pins and was good to go
