Is it hard to replace the head light switch in my 87 Mustang? I bought a new one and wanted to see what was involved with fixing it.

It's pretty easy. All you need to do is pull the existing one out of the dash and unplug it from the plug. If the plug is not melted just plug in the new switch and you should be good to go.

If the plug is melted you will need to replace it. You can buy a replacement pig tail, just cut the old one out and solder in the new pigtail and then plug the new headlight switch in.
