How do I clean out the gas tank in my Ford Mustang?

Wanted to know what the best way to clean out a gas tank would be in my foxbody mustang? Should I just buy a new tank or swish some fresh gas in there to clean it out and call it a day?

as cheap as tanks are getting these days its probably just easier to buy a new one...

You could clean it out with gas and make sure all the impurities are out of the tank.However these cars are starting to age.here's a link to our foxbody mustang gas tanks if you would like to check them out.
