Does anyone use Royal Purple Motor Oil? Is it any better than Mobile 1 or Amsoil?

ive never used it.. but some magazines did destructive tests with all the leading oils and high performance oils... i know mobile 1 and royal purple was in them... if i remember right mobile 1 came out #5 and royal purple was #1... but remember this was pitting the top of the top oils against each other...

i have some royal purpole gear oil in the garage... dads planning to use it the suburban whenever he gets it back together...

I use Mobil 1,the Royal Purple looks like it would be pretty good too, just don't know a whole lot about it though.

well for 1 its purple in color... lol least every time ive seen them putting it in engines and other things it looks purple... and 2.. royal purple was designed with racing/high performance engines in mind...

i read an independant article on royal purple they dyno tested a car before and then put poyal purple in the engine tranny rear diff and a coolant additive and then dyno tested after and it made considerable raises to horsepower and tourqe... its one of the best things you can do for your cars performance(dollar to gain 1 horsepower/ tourque wise) i believe the whole set cost about $125-150
