I have an 88 mustang lx which i have recently taken apart but did have a 347 stroker in it with msd ignition, bbk shorty headers, bbk H-pipe, flowmaster exhust, elgen cam, AFR aluminum heads 195cc, holley 650 carb, eldelbrock intake, 373 gears, 8.8 rear end, 17" cobra rims, and a tremec t-5 5 speed.

well i blew a rod so i took the motor out and was gona rebuil it and then dicided to build a drag car cuz i just got my drag license but now i think i'm gona put it bad to the way it was and just rebuild the 347 and put that back in with a new cam and crank and rods.....

sucks the rod went on ya. Hopefully you'll have her ready in the spring for some cruises.

ive got a ? were the LX's all v8s? or were some of them the l4/v6's (dunno what years they ran between the 2 engines).. or was the l4/v6's a different model?

The LX offered V8 as well as the smaller motor options. As a matter a fact, I'm pretty sure the State Police used a LX Notch as thier chaser car. That definatly had the V8 Grin

ya i had looked at UTI before i came here but i'm more for the drag raceingg sence then nascar. oh and i am working on putting the car back together here soon i'm trying to rebuild the 347 with some diffrent parts and such while i'm at school
