Hi my name is Chris I have owen a bout 10 fox mustangs over 15 years I hope to do a 428FE swap into one I live in New Englind and finding rust free one is tuff If any one has any Iders that would help it would be great

My buddy is doing a 428 FE swap in his 87 Convertible Fox Body, I think the motor is from a 73 or 74 T-bird, hopefully it will be done in the spring.!!

Indeed it is... !! The motor & tranny are ready he just needs a few odds and ends, fuel lines.. I actually tried to post up a pic of the motor but it's too large..!! Jeff just installed a lift at his house also, very cool !! He just retired from work due to his MS and is trying to keep a little side work going... By the way how did you hi-jack my Post??..lol.. |

Hi thanks for every one saying hi the car is all a part but I will get pichers up I have hade the motor for 15yr and the 1985 notch back for a 1yr hope to get the motor done this sumer FE motor are$ to work on nice eng swap your freind is doing in his convvertible he is putting in a "385"ser 429 in The 428 is older and tuffer to get parts for he is on his way I just got parts but it,s a start I love this site hope to have the car done in the summer

Hey Sparky, Just saw your question, sorry about that... He is, or should I say has put in a 429 with a C6.. Just got it up and running this weekend.. Still lots of odds and ends to tie up, its getting there I have a feeling its going to be a Beast...

He is, or should I say has put in a 429 with a C6.. Just got it up and running this weekend..
Still lots of odds and ends to tie up, its getting there
I have a feeling its going to be a Beast...
no biggie... i wont shoot ya over it lol... ahh sweet... share the same block i wish to have... granted id like mine bored a little different.. lol... 460 and 429's shared the same base block... they were just bored and stroked slightly different... |
