sc pros.. great increases in hp, with the right tunes itll increase your fuel mpg, sc helps take some of the strain off in pushing the car around by letting the engine work half as much to get you up to speed (for DD applications here)... No lag... depending on the kit theyre easy installs (ones like vortech and prochargers)

SC con.. low pressures will not hurt the stock engine.. but high pressures will.. improperly tuned can do damage to the internals... youll give up 1-3 hp by them being belt driven but your going to be getting that back 100 fold with the power its giving you... your stock internals werent designed to handle more pressure than theyre already experiencing.. Cost of kits...

Nitrous pros - Great boosts in HP.. some kits can be relatively cheap... supposedly easy to install

Nitrous cons- improper tuning can turn your engine into a bomb... Cost of refilling a 2nd gas tank all the time.... finding places that can fill them for you... bottles can run empty when you need them the most... puts same amount of stress on the blocks and internals as supercharger/turbo kits do...

ive always been a fan of the old school ways... strap a supercharger on it and go...

Based on costs, nitrous is very attractive.  Kinda like a Korean hooker...you want to hit it, but you know there could be consequences.

in the long run a supercharger will be cheaper. nitrous is fairly easy to install and cheap. the only thing i dont like about nitrous is maintaing bottle pressure. but they make nano kits for them that will keep one consistant bottle pressure. why dont you consider a turbo? it will make more power than a blower with the same amount of boost, and be more street friendly

ntm one mis-program of the computer for the nitrous, or a screw up with it engaged and you can really screw up the engine... buddy of mine shifted at the wrong time while running nos and cracked his heads... another his tuner didnt program his computer right and first time he ran it down at the track blew the top of the engine through his hood...

the only part i dont agree with is the last part there... superchargers can and do make as much power as turbos do... problem is theyre not as publicized as the turbos are... superchargers have come a long way over the years since they first came out... as have turbos...
