My car is mostly stock 4cyl.

I've seen 8.8's for fairly cheap, and it will bolt in plus allow you room to grow if you ever throw a V8 in there. As to the gears themselves, thats going to depend on what exactly you're looking for. Tell us your driving habits/tranny type/expected or allowable mpg decrease and we can give you a good recommendation
